When I decided to go to medical school to become a doctor, I didn’t realize how many tedious and boring things would be involved in my education. I had romanticized what school would be like and not taken into account that there would be administration and tedious tasks involved. We covered a whole session of Medicare guidelines and I did not consider what this would mean to me.
This was before I had my first placement at a hospital. Instead of being with doctors and helping them to make diagnoses, I was in the filing room doing administrative tasks. This is when I realized that I was glad to have learned about Medicare Supplemental Insurance. I at least understood what I was reading and filing.
My next placement was handing out free diabetic testing kits in high risk areas and to high risk people. I really enjoyed this and it helped me to make my decision to specialize in the care of diabetic children.
When I found out I could order Paxil online, I was very happy. I do not leave my house in the winter, due to the severity of my depression during this time. I was tired of always having people do things for me and I was glad to have a way to do it for myself. My depression causes me severe paranoia and severe anxiety during the cold months.
In the summer, I order Zoloft, in a very low dose. I seem to do alright then, and just need enough medication to keep my stress levels down. I do dread winter, but things have been ok so far. I am finding things to do to keep myself busy and, as long as I don’t have to leave the house and I take my medications, I do alright.
Last winter was very bad. I was prescribed a dosage of generic Prozac to take along with my Zoloft. I did survive the winter and when the snow melts, I become the happy person that everyone wants me to be. I wish I could be that for them all the time.
The best time I have ever had in my life was when I went to the Tournament of Kings. I credit this to my being cheap. I had to go to Las Vegas for my Godson’s christening and I looked online to find all the Las Vegas hotel promotions that were on at the time. I wasn’t going to pay full price, but I also was not going to miss this for the world.
The Luxor discounts I found online seemed to offer the best value for your dollar. Sadly, they didn’t have any rooms available for the date I was going to be there. Instead, I used some Excalibur offer codes (the second best deal at the time), and booked a room there without knowing anything about the hotel. When I arrived, I was told about the Tournament of Kings, which was a medieval feast offered at the hotel.
I had always wanted to attend one of these, but it had never worked out before. I purchased a pair of tickets for me and my friend to attend and I swear I had the best time of my life. I can honestly say if I the Luxor had not been booked up, I would have missed out on attending the Tournament of Kings. I am sure happy everything worked out the way it did.
Some of my friends think that I am a romantic, while others think that I am a nincompoop. What really matters is that my wife thinks that I am romantic and I think she does. Now, I cannot take credit for all the romantic ideas I come up with, in fact, they are all my buddy’s ideas.
You see, my best friend Luke is a genius of sorts with the ladies. He is one of the most accomplished romantics that I know and you can ask all the women that are his friends - and that is what they will tell you.
For example, I wanted to take my wife out for a romantic evening and I wasn’t sure what to do or where to go. He suggested that I get a New York Limousine Rental, take her out for supper and a night on the town. He suggested that I use the same NYC Limo Rental company that he had used for his daughter’s prom.
He gave me the number of the company that his daughter used for her Prom Limousine in New York. I gave them a call, and booked the restaurant so that everything is all set. I bet you my wife will love it, and I will get credit for it, even though without Luke, I wouldn’t be the "romantic" that I pretend to be.
I was just recently diagnosed with Asthma. You see, I smoked for a number of years and quit because I had problems breathing. In fact, it was my smoking that caused the Asthma. I wasn’t very happy when I found out what I had, but I have had to learn to cope with it.
I always carry an inhaler with me in case I cannot breathe. But lately, I have had a good run of little breathing problems. You see, I started taking Biotek Ephedrine and things have been going better. A lot better.
I saw a specialist and he suggested that I try Ephedrine for Asthma - a drug that he prescribed to most of his asthma patients. He even suggested a good place to buy Ephedrine at a discount and I promptly headed over there.
So, after two months of using Ephedrine things are more tolerable. I still have problems breathing from time to time, but things have stabilized to a point I am okay most of the time. Even though things are better, I think it is still going to take me some time to learn how to cope with asthma.
It doesn’t hurt to take a look at your personal finances from time to time. By doing a checkup on your financial health, you can reduce or even eliminate problems before they come up. I try to take a look at my finances about four times per year and December is one of those months.
This past year has had its’ share of ups and downs. On the positive site I was able to make my last payment on the debt consolidation loans I took out three years ago. At the time, I had a rough patch, and couldn’t find a full job, and my bills were out of control. After getting the loan, I was able to get back on my feet and get my life back on track.
I was also able to take advantage of home refinance loans to put some money in my pocket and reduce my mortgage payments. The housing market has been hot here for about two years, and I decided to finally cash in on the increase of my homes value. I was able to buy a new vehicle, repair the deck and finish the basement with those proceeds.
The only little blemish on this past quarter was the two payday loans that I took out. You see, our vehicle had a little mishap, and we needed the money to pay for the insurance to repair it. So, it is not like that I was using these cash advances for fun - by having a good reason, I don’t feel so guilty for using them.
So, looking at my finances this quarter, I am in good shape. Now with the free money I have from finishing my debt consolidation, and my home refinance, we will be able to replenish our savings account. Hopefully we won’t need to use a payday loan again.
I received a set of organic baby bedding at my daughter, Ellison’s baby shower. This made me start thinking about things that had never even crossed my mind before. I began to wonder at the benefits of using organic fabrics. A person does not usually think of their clothing as something that can harm them.
I decided to find out more about organic baby clothing and was appalled at the damage that regular clothing can have on a baby’s delicate skin. I was also bothered that this information was not more freely distributed to new parents and that it took a gift from a friend to even make me think about it.
From what I discovered through my research, my child will only wear organic baby clothes. I will also make it my mission to make sure that every parent I know or meet, finds out the dangers of chemicals in their child’s clothing. I am working on having a pamphlet published that I will hand out to everyone with children.
I am an Asheville real estate agent. I love what I do and Asheville is such a wonderful place to live that the homes practically sell themselves. I recently had the opportunity to meet a young couple that was considering a move to Asheville. They currently live in Charlotte and are not enjoying the big city life. They are interested in a changing to a slower pace and think that Asheville would be perfect for them.
They came to me to see what their options were for real estate for sale in Asheville. I loved that, at such a young age they were ready for a move from the big city and I really wanted to help them find what they were looking for. I showed them quite a variety of places and I think that they were impressed with both the cost and the peacefulness of the areas in which I chose.
In the end, they decided to go with Asheville Condos and they have a lovely suite awaiting their arrival once they get all of their loose ends tied up in Charlotte. They are excited about the move and I think that Asheville will be lucky to have them.
My brother has been dating a nurse now for six months and he has been madly trying to decide what to get her for Christmas. He isn’t the brightest tool in the shed, but he hasn’t known her long enough to know exactly what she likes. She also has this nasty habit of buying what she wants, when she wants it, leaving him few choices of gifts.
He came to me for some ideas on what he could get. We threw around many ideas, with none of them "sticking" as the final solution. We were about to give up, when the solution came to me: Croc Shoes.
You see, just a couple of weeks ago, Michelle had been complaining that she broke her Crocs. I don’t quite remember the details on how she did it, but the result was she needed to wear regular shoes to work. Mike told me at the time that she would come home each day with sore feet, and complaining how her shoes sucked.
So, Mike and I went to a store that sold Crocs to check them out. We found her a pair of All Terrain Crocs that would keep her feet warm while outside in winter, yet be comfortable inside too. He was happy with the choice and she will be too. So, if you have a nurse on your list, consider giving them Crocs - it is the perfect gift for a nurse.
I was browsing through a selection of antique rugs the other day, while out shopping with my mother. There was one in particular, which caught my eye, and I knew it would look great in my dining room. I inquired about the price and was pleasantly surprised that it was quite affordable. I snapped up the rug and was pleased with myself for making such a great purchase.
From there, the day just got better and better. I got so many crazy deals. I found a replica leather handbag, identical to the one that I had been drooling over for the past few months, but was unable to afford. You can’t tell at all that it isn’t real.
The last stop we made was to try and find some activewear for my father. While in the store, I found the perfect golf bag and it happened to be on for half price. I snatched that up as well. I will never complain about taking my mom shopping again, as I had such a great day of deals. I think there was a smile on my face for a week and the smile matched my leather purse perfectly.
