I have the wonderful job of doing product reviews. It is a lot of fun because I get free products shipped to my house and I get to try them and let the company know my honest opinions about them. I love to do it and have been dissatisfied only a couple of times.

One time, my face broke out in hives from a new soap, and I don’t even have sensitive skin. I have never seen this product on the shelf, so I am guessing that I am not the only one who had this reaction. That is why consumer reviews are so important.

I very seldom have a reaction to any product that I try because usually products that cause reactions don’t even make it this far. One of the best parts of what I do is that I know that my news and opinions on a product really matter and they really listen to me.

The worst part of it is when I have to do website reviews. I am not good with this and I find it a lot more tedious than trying a new hand lotion and writing about any reactions I had and whether or not I liked the scent. All in all, I really love my job.

I can remember way back to when I started on the Internet about ten years ago.  Back in those days, you were excited to get email from your friends and family.  You almost felt it was like Christmas, opening your email like it was a present.

But now, years later, things have changed.

You see, it isn’t so fun getting just stupid stuff in your mailbox anymore.  Instead of getting links to very cool websites, most of it is just junk now - and ends up quickly in my trash.

Instead of reading those emails, I go and look for just cool stuff on other social media sites.  This way, I find that the sites that do have the best reviews are actually good and worth my time.  Sure, the odd bad site gets in there, but for the most part they are worth looking at.

Now, if I could only get my wife to stop sending me those types of emails….

As a business owner, it is important to know how your customers feel about the products and services you offer.  Usually, you can improve your operation and your bottom line if you take their views and opinions into consideration.

Another benefit to the opinions and reviews that you get is that you now have a way to evaluate if the public view of your organization is on the mark to the corporate vision.  If you find that what your customers think of your operation is not what it should be, you can always make changes to get your company in line with your goals.

How do you start?

There are many ways to get feedback from your customers: surveys, questionnaires, contests, and many other ways as well.  With all the options available to you and your company, you might feel a little overwhelmed.

Might I suggest an easier solution?

Just have a conversation with your customers.  "May I ask your opinion on… ".  I think you get the idea.

My parents own a business that has been experiencing some real profits over the past couple of years. I fact, they are not even sure what to do with all of the money that they have been earning through the company.

A few years ago, the business was not doing so well, so we went through the different profit systems in an attempt to turn the company around. It was probably the best thing we ever did for the business, because with a few small changes, the business took right off.

My parents have also been doing a lot better with their investments now than they were a couple years ago. The way I see it, they should be able to retire in the next couple of years. Not that I want that, as the business will then become my responsibility.

The company has recently received some very promising business reviews and, in my opinion, is almost to the point where they should just sell it and enjoy the rewards. Early retirement never hurt anyone, and I know that I do not have time to run it when they are finished.

My brother, who owns a jewelry store just brought in a shipment of wholesale stainless steel jewelry and asked me and my daughter to some in and help him to go through it. He wanted to know which pieces would sell to which age groups and what we thought he could sell them for.

My daughter, who is fourteen absolutely fell in love with the stainless steel jewelry She agreed that there were many that her friends would buy if they were cheap enough. My brother assured her that they would definitely be in their price ranges and that he was happy that she liked them.

He told her that buying stainless steel jewelry wholesale basically guaranteed him to be able to sell the pieces at prices people could afford and he would still be able to make a profit as well. We finished going through them and she assured him that she would be back with her friends the next day after school.

I was recently checking the local newspaper for movie reviews. It was a Friday night and my friend and I thought we should see a movie. We had not been to one in a long time and so were not even sure what was playing.

I was disappointed in the reviews I found there as there did not seem to be anything funny or upbeat to watch, and I was certainly not spending my night watching a war documentary.

We turned to the Internet and tried to find some good entertainment reviews websites. We found a few that were certainly not up to date and we found some that were. We did find one site that had the information we were looking for.

We went to ratingzone and after reading the latest net gossip, were pleasantly surprised that we were offered a few choices on movies that appealed to us. So, we will go there now, when we want to see a movie, which happens to be every six months or so.

Just the other day on one of the forums that I frequent, someone was offering access to a large digital media training database for free.  This database was supposed to contain training materials and tutorials that covered a broad range of topics.

I sent this person an email to make sure that it was completely free and he assured me that there was nothing for sale.  So, I decided to try it out and I requested a username and password.

Now, when I was able to try out my account, I was amazed.  The archives inside the membership area were the largest I had ever seen!  Using the free search feature I was able to find tutorial videos on just about every subject I could imagine.  After doing about five searches, I decided that it was time to quit fooling around and look for something serious.

Or so I thought.  A window popped up telling me that my trial was over and that I had to subscribe and send money to be a member.  I guess this was not the offer I was expecting…

I was traveling in to New York from Canada with a friend of mine. While we were there, we rented a car and got into a minor traffic accident. I immediately decided to hire a NYC traffic violation attorney because I was from out of country and I was driving a rented car.

I was appointed a Manhattan traffic violation attorney, as that is where the accident took place. I wanted to know what the repercussions were going to be, both with the driver of the other vehicle and with the car rental company.

My attorney immediately got in touch with the Bronx traffic violation lawyer that was going to be representing the other guy’s case. They had a very civil discussion and it turned out that the man I hit was very decent and decided no to press charges, aside from the costs to repair his vehicle. Boy, did I luck out there. After that, we took a cab.

For those of you who are my friends out there, I invite you to come over and see my new, modern furniture. 

I can thank my new surroundings to my wife - she was fed up with our old furniture and she thought that some contemporary furniture would spice up our place.  You see, she was ashamed with our old ratty furniture.  Sure, it wasn’t the nicest stuff in the world, and it looked like we bought it at the Sally Ann, but it was comfortable.

The one thing I was not sad to see go was our bed.  We had it for over ten years, and you would usually wake up with a sore back - which kind of defeats the purpose of sleeping.  The new bed and contemporary bedroom furniture she picked out has made a big difference.  I don’t mind going into the bedroom now, and when you wake up in the morning, you feel very refreshed - almost like you have slept longer than you did.

I think I will go read the paper on my new recliner… too bad I can’t sit in it all day - I have work to do.

I am pretty new to the world of Internet marketing, but I am certainly not new to the world of the Internet as a whole. I have always enjoyed the Internet and have to admit that my family was one of the first I know to have the Internet at home.

I had never considered using the net to create money until recently. I got bored of my high education job and wanted to do something just for me. My friend told me about article marketing and I knew it was something I could do and enjoy.

By doing some online research, in just a day, I learned how to get higher search engine rankings. My sites rose very quickly in the search engines and I was impressed at how quickly I caught on to everything I needed to know. Not that I have ever been a slow learner.

I enjoy using online media to learn about all kinds of new tips and techniques for getting my sites to earn more money. It is a slow process, but I am extremely happy with the progress that I have been making. I am even doing much better than my friend who introduced me. But then, I knew I would.
