Though, I would not call myself a vandal, I love to do graffiti painting. I do not go around painting buildings in the dark, but I have done my bedroom walls and to me painting graffiti is a form of art that very few people appreciate and that is sad. I understand that it is wrong when it is vandalism, but it can be a beautiful thing.
For instance, if you have ever seen Banksy street art, you cannot argue that he is a real artist. He went from having warrants out for his arrest to being displayed in art galleries and honored as an artist. I look at him as being one of my biggest inspirations in life.
He didn’t care that people thought he was a criminal. He knew right from the start that he was an artist and he didn’t let the prejudices of others stop him from what he wanted to do. This is very inspirational and I wish to be like him one day. I know that because of him, street artists are looked at with much more respect than they used to be and that is a good thing.
Even though I enjoyed school back in the day (that was at least a few years ago), there were some assignments that we did that I just didn’t feel that were worth my time. I didn’t really care what Shakespeare wrote, or about much literature from a thousand years ago.
What I really didn’t like were book reports. To be honest, anybody can read a book and create a summary of it, so why bother. You could always buy a term paper instead and get a custom written essay.
In fact, I don’t see why that isn’t allowed. In real life, chances are I would outsource the report writing to someone else so that I could focus on something else instead of wasting my time writing it myself. Outsourcing is a valuable life skill – if we were only taught it, most of us would get farther along in our lives than we do.
Thank goodness that Derrick was there for me when I needed some advice. I was struggling in my biochemistry class. I was studying and working so hard in it, that I had not even had a spare minute to work on my paper that was going to be due in less than a week. I was in so much trouble. That is when he suggested that I pay someone for a custom research paper.
That was a brilliant idea. I hugged him and told him he was the best friend ever. I started to run away and he just smiled when I came back and asked where to go to buy a custom term paper. He gave me a few names and phone numbers and I gave him the biggest hug ever. Then, I got busy, calling around to see who would have time to write a paper for me.
I got a really good grade on the paper and even managed to do okay on the exam. I went for coffee with Derrick after that and he asked if he could buy essay papers from me. I told him that I didn’t have time and he said that he actually only need one and that it would be very short. I figured it was the least I could do, so told him to give me the topic. He handed me a complete outline as to the many reasons why he liked me and why we should be together. It was very romantic and we have been together ever since.
I work at a knock off jewelry store. I like the stuff we sell because it is what I can afford. It is very nice looking as well and I am always super excited when we get in a new shipment. I love to go through the boxes and see what is new. Just recently, we got some fake diamond dog tags. They were so nice and so trendy.
I have always been very big on jewelry bling and by working here and getting the staff discount, I am able to always have new pieces to wear. I bet that no one could argue that I always seem very dressed up and sophisticated. I believe that I am a trendy person and I am the world’s greatest testimonial that being trendy does not have to cost a fortune.
The only thing I own that is actually real is my diamond earring set. The only reason I own this is because it belonged to my grandmother and was left to me in her will. I am so scared to wear them because I don’t want to lose them, so I wear the fake stuff with a lot more of a carefree manner. Someday, I will wear Grandma’s earrings, but for right now, I am young and not that responsible, so I make do.
A long time ago, when I first went to university, I signed up for some college student credit cards, as did all of my friends. My applications were all declined and they all got their cards. I was furious. I could not figure out why I was treated differently than they were when we were all at the same point in our lives. I decided to find out.
I looked at the copies of the student credit card applications that I had filled out and got a customer service number to call. The person that I talked to told me that I had been declined because I had so much debt. I could not figure this out as I had absolutely no debt, so I decided to get a credit report.
When I got the report, I was very shocked. It was no wonder that credit cards for students wanted nothing to do with me. I was the victim of identity theft. Someone had stolen my identity when I was only seven years old. It took me a long time to clear all of that up and I still get credit checks every few months or so, to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
For a very long time now, I have been working with a company that specializes in providing supplies to winemakers and wineries. As part of the marketing department, I have helped the business generate revenues through advertising.
Up until recently, we only advertised in national publications. But we recently discovered a niche magazine that caters to an area of California that has lots of wineries. It is situated right in the heart of our target market and we thought we would give it a try.
The magazine advertising cost was very reasonable, and we had a large response from our ads. So good in fact that I think that we will become a regular advertiser.
So, next time you are marketing in a magazine, realize the benefits of advertising in a niche publication are real – and that is where you should be spending your advertising dollars.
Sometimes the projects of graduate students surprise me. I am not talking about ridiculous topics for studies, but rather ones that are insightful.
Over the past number of years, there have been a few that have stood out. One of the better ones in the past year was one about a person’s perception of whether a route was a shortcut or not.
But that was awhile ago. But on Friday, another student came up with a brilliant idea – he was going to see how many students order essays.
The study would start with the college application essay and include everything up to graduate studies (including MBA essays). It will be the first time that there is a serious study regarding the increase of purchased essays being submitted as student’s own work.
It will be interesting to see how the results turn out, but it will be a couple of years before the doctorate student in question will be able to show us his results.
Annoyed. That is the word that I think of when it comes to my computer.
You see, everything was going great with my computer. Things were running smoothly for about a year, and I was really happy – this was the best computer I had owed up to today.
But things changed last week, when I got my first registry error message. Then I got a second one – then a third. Things were getting really bad, really quick. I knew that I could fix it with some software, so I started to read some registry cleaner reviews in an attempt to find something that would work.
Well, there sure seemed to be a lot of reviews. I read about five Registry Mechanic reviews, then proceeded to read some Regcure reviews. According to what I read, people were very happy with both products – but that didn’t help my decision.
I think I will just have to look to see if I can find some bad experiences with either product, or I might just have to close my eyes and pick. Either way, it will be so nice to be done with my errors I am getting – then I can go back to enjoying my computer.
I come from a very dysfunctional family and I have very few good memories of childhood. But, the good memories that I do have are the ones that I cling very tightly to. I used these memories to do a college paper on the effects of our senses. That is because these memories have a lot to do with different senses that we have.
For instance, one of the great memories I had as a child was the way my mother would smell when she was getting ready to go out. She had the most amazing and unique perfume out of anyone I knew and there was no one else who smelled like her. As an adult, I asked how come she never smelled like that any more. She informed me that the perfume she wore was now only available in France.
Another great memory I have is the way that my grandfather’s hands felt when he was holding mine. We had a very unique and close relationship and he passed away the year I became a teenager. But to this day, I have never forgotten the way his hands felt. They were calloused, but still very soft. They were also very large. These two very real memories were all about the senses of smell and touch and I will never forget either one.
When my son turned three, I thought it was time for him to use the computer. You see, he had been watching me for most of his life now using them and he was curious. I thought that it would be a good learning experience for him since he would be growing up in a digital world. It might be the way he would get an edge over the rest of the kids.
So, I went to a website that had games tailored to his age. The few preschooler games that I found were pretty straight forward and he caught on quickly. I decided to let him play for a few minutes while I fixed us some lunch.
Big mistake.
When I came back, I could see that somehow he was in the process of deleting the files on my computer and making sure I couldn’t get them back. When I sat down, I found that most of my work files, and our family photos had been deleted.
Thankfully, I recently purchased some hard drive data recovery software, and I started it up. I had only used the software once previously, but I remembered that the experience was good, and the software was easy to use.
I had originally bought the software as a digital photo recovery software package – at the time I had deleted some photos of when our baby was born (I also didn’t have backups of them). The Recovery My Files software had worked remarkably well when I had used it last time so I was hoping it would work good this time.
After about an hour, disaster was averted, and I was able to recover all the data my child had deleted. I learned a valuable lesson today as a parent – don’t leave your preschooler at your computer unattended.
