When my husband and I got married a few years ago we decided that we wanted a very unique honeymoon.  We decided, though people thought we were crazy, that we were going to go camping.  This may not sound so odd, except for the fact that we got married in the middle of winter when it was well below freezing outside.

Just to show that we were not wimps we packed up our wall tents, our oil heaters and all of our camping gear and headed out into the great outdoors.  We managed to find ways to keep warm and it was a great opportunity to just spend time with each other with no noise or distractions around us.

We had such a great time that we decided we were going to make an annual trip of it.  We just got back recently from our third trip and we still look forward to it every year.  I do not think that anyone, regardless of where they went, has any better honeymoon memories than we do.
