Since it’s two-sided, it is both an entrance and an exit. Doors can match the walls they’re attached to or stick out incongruously. They can keep people out or in.
And so it is with virtual doors. To someone with an exploratory palate, discovering Indian recipes opens a door to not only Indian food but an entire culture.
Learning a language can open many doors, just as not being willing to learn another language can keep even more doors firmly closed to you.
