One of the things that I pride myself on is my self control when it comes to shopping.  I make sure to consider everything, and if I still want the item, I sleep on it to make sure my decision is a sound one.  I also try to take advantage of coupons whenever possible to save myself some extra money.

But, from time to time, I get a little bit too excited and just buy something on a whim.  Sure, it usually isn’t something very expensive, but nonetheless I usually end up regretting it.

This happened to me recently when I went out to buy an outfit and shoes.  I was feeling particularly embarrassed about my outfit one day, and I went into a clothing store and bought a new outfit complete with shoes.

When I went home and checked my coupon toolbar on my computer, I was mad at myself.  There was a shoes coupon I could have used to save myself money.

I shouldn’t have paid full price.
