Every 11 seconds, someone starts a new home business! When talking about the failure rate of 95% within the first 3 years, that is crazy! So why are there so many people trying their hand at it? If you are reading this, you probably already know.
* Freedom of time * Freedom from financial stress * Fulfillment * Recession proof income * Be your own boss and work from home!
So how can you succeed in a home business? There are so many out there. If youve spent any time researching them online, you may give up out of a feeling of being overwhelmed or misinformed. I know! I have been there. The fact that many people fail doesnt discount the companies they were trying to succeed with. There are so many reasons for failure, and most home business opportunities are legitimate. You just need to know what to look for and what you are getting yourself into. To succeed in any home business you need to know several things upfront:
* Who is my sponsor, and what do they have to offer me? Talk to them directly and get a feel for whether or not you will be comfortable working with them. * What is the reputation of the company? Even if the company is legit.-if many disgruntled people are giving it a bad rap , you may have a hard time convincing others to join you. * Get a feel for the community by joining a conference call to understand what the mindset of the people is. * How do they expect you to get leads? Anyone suggesting you use the people you already know is in the dark ages. Find someone who can teach you how to use the internet! * Is the product something you can believe in and guaranteed? There is a reason so many products out there are not guaranteed. With so many scams, its almost a must have these days. * Understand the compensation plan. Is it going to take you years to build up enough clientele to make a significant income? * Is there a residual income in place so that you dont have to work until you die? The best of both worlds is finding a direct sales company with a residual income plan as well. These are rare. * Always get a third party review or endorsement of the company. Although Id like to say trust the one trying to sponsor you, you always want the opinion of an outsider.
After reading this, you probably think it all sound like common sense, right? It is. But so many people make an emotional decision before considering what it’s really gonna take to make their home business succeed. In our internet age, home businesses are a great option if you do your due diligence beforehand. Find one that’s right for YOU. Best wishes from one entrepreneur to another!
