My wife and I recently got back from the Spring Bada-Bing at around midnight last night. My satisfaction with the craft show is very high; I could say that it was a very good show! Along with two chairs, tables were already accounted for, so it was pretty good to not have to worry about bringing our own tables and chairs.

Lunch might have been a bit of a problem as there weren’t a lot of options near the venue, but fortunately for us, the Mafia of Richmond Crafts organized a lunch-in option for the vendors. It was stress-free, and they brought the relatively cheap meals straight to our booths. It was unsurprising, as this is the 4th time they’ve put on this show; the organizers really know how to handle it. I heard no word of anything that went wrong, and if anything did, I’m sure it was an easily fixed minor problem.

The number of people who attended was a bit lower than what I expected, but as I never had the chance to see the attendance log, maybe that was just me. The place was nice and big, anyway, and there were a lot of places to go to. I’d say there was a light, and steady flow of customers.

The most important question is how much we made in relation to the costs of the show, of course. I guess we did okay. My wife and I both had unforgiving schedules on the days leading to the event. This probably affected our sales a bit, as we weren’t as fully prepared. I’d say that for us, it was a good, but not great show.

The organizers have estimated that there will be about 2,000 people attending this craft show. There will be about 170 booths showcasing their different variety of crafts and arts. There is also a live band entertainment that will fit everyones taste. There are different cuisine dishes that can be bought from our variety of vendors.

This long awaited event is sponsored by the Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska. A society that was established 1965 in part of the Lyndon B. Johnson’s “War on Poverty”. The organization is a non-profit and community action organization that had a mission to help people, change lives and make their community a better place to live in.

The objective of the organization was to provide services and programs where positive solutions were developed to help solve the poverty problem. The society aimed for these projects to target the elderly and disabled population of the community. The society has sponsored, developed and created programs to meet their objective.

On April 18, 2009 there will be a 5th Annual Keene Spring Craft Show at the Keene High School 43 Arch Street, Keene, NH 03431. Vendors are allowed to set up their booth from 7:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. and the show will officially start at 10:00 A.M. up to 4:00 P.M. It is an indoor and non-juried craft show.

The Keene Spring Craft Show is expected to have around 700 attendees that are based on last years number of attendees. For this year there will be no admission fee fro the public. There will be enough parking area for all vendors and customers. The promoters will provide for wall socket electricity with a $10.00 fee.

For vendors the space rate is $65.00 for a 5×8 space, $75.00 8×8 space and $85.00 10×10 space. A rate of $15.00 for a table and chair there are 6 table and chairs available. The promoters will require that floor length table cloths be used.

The event is a juried craft show therefore vendors who wish to attend will submit an application and pictures or slides of their work. Based on the pictures or slides submitted the juries will be able to accept which application is to be approved.

Promoters will advertise the event by local and national newspaper and radio broadcasts. There will be banners on top of the underpass so that commuter passing by will also see the ad. There will be flyers distributed within the town and surrounding towns. Posters will be posted along the road coming in and out of the city.

The vendors or craft makers will be available during the craft show for you to ask them any questions regarding their work of art. You will not only be guaranteed of handmade crafts and arts but these work of arts are unique from anything else you have seen.
