Some website owners try to use articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and make some money. This is mostly important for those who have just begun working as an affiliate for several merchants and do not yet have any capitals, yet need to built small niche web sites to drive visitors to their site so that they can begin making some revenue .

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your website or revenue. There are a few potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.

Problem #1 – Search Engines

Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other web sites. The more web sites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.

Good search engine rankings are important in getting traffic to your website so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links or buy your products. If you cannot even get traffic, then will never make an revenue. Working on the search engine optimization of your web site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 – Getting visitors to click

When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will click on the author byline link rather than your affiliate links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing possible profitable website visitors.

Once you put these 3 problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue simply because you used free website content from article directories. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own original content, then you should go this route. If you don have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

It makes me so angry when people who have never owned a business before, who don’t have an entrepreneurial bone in their body because they’re so caught up in their own dramas and poor poor me stories criticize those that have been there and done that and deserve to be paid what they’re worth.

No statue has ever been erected to a critic! Ever!

The truth is our natural state is one of abundance and joy but we annihilate and block it by holding on to all of these limiting beliefs and transferring our negative skeptical belief systems to others. It’s a virus that is more contagious than the plague when you let it breed.

If you want to change the world then you have to remember that you’re worth all the money in the world and you can have all the money in the world that you could possibly want if you’ll only work hard and SMART enough for it, and realize you deserve it because you provided enough value for others to get it. When you achieve your dreams the moaners and whiners who wouldn’t walk to the water let alone drink it are forced to notice that another doer who is out there doing it has done it, then they start trying too…. sooner or later!

The quickest way to get rich is to follow someone else who has already done it, because they will be able to show you what to do and what not to do so you can cut out the costly learning curve. And believe me you’ll be glad you did!

So next time you see someone saying something horrible about someone who has achieved something that they probably want to achieve, walk away, don’t spread the poverty disease, you don’t know what those successful people went through to get to where they are today.

Every overnight success story is concealing the real truth which is that there are no overnight success stories… ever, period! They don’t exist!

And always remember success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal:-)

The end result is not the reward, who you become, that is the reward:-) That is worth all of it, all the pain and struggle, it’s all worth it when you see who you’ve become.
